VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION COUNSELOR- DEAF & HARD OF HEARING
Department of Aging and Independent Living

VocRehab is seeking a counselor based in our Barre office to provide VR counseling and casework services to individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

This position will also serve the Morrisville, Newport, and St. Johnsbury VR offices.

Frequent travel will be required.

Duties include development and monitoring of case plans in consultation with consumers and provision of training and assistance. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and technologies used by individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing is required.
Master’s degree in rehab counseling, social work, psychology or special education is preferred. This position is being recruited at three levels (Associate, Level I and Level II) so applicants should apply for each of the levels for which they wish to be considered.
